This is a petition under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 for issuance of directions to respondent No.3 (Senior Superintendent of Police, Bathinda) to take necessary action on the complaints/representations dated 16.07.2020 (Annexure P-1) and 28.09.2020 (Annexure P-2).

Learned counsel for the petitioner, at the outset, limits his prayer in the present petition and states that he would be satisfied if a direction is given to respondent No.3 to decide his complaints/representations dated 16.07.2020 and 28.09.2020 (Annexures P-1 and P-2) in a time-bound manner in accordance with law. Notice of motion.

On the asking of the Court, Ms. Jaspreet Kaur, AAG, Punjab has joined the session through video conferencing and accepts notice on behalf of the respondents.

In view of the limited prayer made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, the present petition is disposed off with a direction to respondent No.3 i.e. Senior Superintendent of Police, Bathinda to decide the complaints/representations dated 16.07.2020 and 28.09.2020 (Annexures P-1 and P-2) filed by the petitioner herein expeditiously, in accordance with law.
