RAJESH BHARDWAJ, J.(ORAL) Present petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for directing respondents no.2 and 3 to protect the life and liberty of the petitioner from the hands of respondents no.4 and 5. It is further prayed to direct respondents No.2 and 3 to take appropriate action on the representations dated 12.07.2024 and 25.07.2024, Annexures P-1 and P2 as well as to collect the CCTV footage of the occurrence from the respective places.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner has already filed representations, Annexures P-1 and P-2 to respondent No.2, however, no action has been taken on the same till date. Notice of motion to respondents no.1 to 3-State only. On the asking of the Court, Mr.Tarun Aggarwal, Sr.DAG, Punjab, who is present in Court, accepts notice on behalf of the State. It is clarified that this order shall not be taken to grant immunity to the petitioners from legal action for violation of law, if any, committed by them.
