Present writ petition is for issuance of directions to the respondents to allow antedated promotion to the petitioner to the post of Head Master and to consider his claim for the promotion to the post of Principal of senior secondary school with all consequential benefits which have already been granted and released to his juniors who were allowed antedated promotion vide orders dated 28.04.2015 (Annexure P3) and dated 16.05.2018 (Annexure P6).

Learned counsel for the petitioner contended that petitioner has already got issued legal notice dated 23.07.2018 (Annexure P9), but still no action has been taken.
