It is a case where petitioner-Amandeep aged 23 years had solemnising marriage with respondent No.5-Gurmukh Masih. Infact after solemnize marriage, the petitioner-Amandeep alongwith her husband Gurmukh Masih (respondent No.5) had approached this Court seeking protection from her father, brother and other relatives as they had apprehended threat to their life and liberty, by way of filing CRWP No.6634 of 2020. ( 2 ) CRM-M-39320-2020 (O&M) that in case the said petitioners approached the police authorities concerned with regard to their alleged threat perception, the same would be got examined by Senior Superintendent of Police, Gurdaspur, District Gurdaspur and necessary steps as may be warranted be taken thereupon. 4.

The learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that infact petitioner's marriage with Gurmukh Masih was solemnized under pressure and not with her free consent and on account of which she intends to take action against Gurmukh Masih and others on the basis of her representation dated 13.10.2020 (Annexure P-3).

5.

The petitioner is a matured girl aged 23 years. It remains unexplained as to how she, at this stage, alleges that her marriage was not with her consent, particularly, when she herself had also approached this Court seeking protection and that too on account of the fact that she apprehended threat from her family. Further the representation dated 13.10.2020 (Annexure P-3) has not been submitted by her but by her father. As such, this Court does not find any ground for issuance of any direction. The petition, as such, is found to be sans merit and is hereby dismissed.
