(Oral) Petitioner filed instant petition seeking direction to the respondent to refund the amount deposited with them in lieu of demand letter dated 9th February, 2012, Annexure P-2 and also for payment of interest thereon. He also served legal notice, Annexure P-4, in support of his claim.

Reply has been filed on behalf of the Corporation. Vide Annexure R-1 annexed thereto, a reply to legal notice has been sent to the petitioner. Admittedly, amount of Rs.35,18,027/- has been refunded to the petitioner.

His grievance is limited to the question of payment of interest. He submits that no speaking order has been passed regarding this. Learned counsel appearing for Corporation submits that a speaking order shall be passed within 06 weeks from today. A copy thereof shall be supplied immediately to the petitioner.

Under the circumstances, no cause of action survives in this petition.
