Sharma, Advocate for the respondents. ***** MAHABIR SINGH SINDHU, J Present civil writ petition has been filed under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a writ in the nature of certiorari for quashing the impugned order dated 28.09.2020 (P-1), whereby the claim of petitioner for grant of choice posting, has been rejected.

In pursuance of notice of motion issued by Co-ordinate Bench, learned counsel for the respondents has apprised the Court that petitioner is given posting at the place of his choice, although on compassionate ground. In view of the above factual position, learned counsel for the petitioner wishes to withdraw the present petition with liberty to make a representation to the competent autority.
