Prayer in this writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, is for issuing directions to respondents No.1 to 4 to quash the closure order dated 30.04.2026 (Annexure P-1). 2.

After arguing for some time, learned counsel for the petitioner prays that he may be permitted to withdraw the present writ petition with liberty to avail the alternative remedy by approaching the National Green Tribunal (NGT) and to raise all such pleas as have been raised herein. However, learned counsel prays for grant of interim protection for a limited period to enable the petitioner to approach the NGT. 3.

In view of the statement made by learned counsel for the petitioner, the present writ petition is dismissed as withdrawn with liberty as JAWALA RAM 2026.06.04 10:26 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document

However, for a period of 15 working days from today, operation of that part of the impugned order, whereby electricity connection of the petitioner has been disconnected/cut off, shall remain stayed. It is clarified that the aforesaid protection is purely temporary in nature and is granted only to facilitate the petitioner for availing the alternative remedy before the NGT. The same shall automatically cease to operate upon expiry of the aforesaid period.
