***** JASPAL SINGH, J (ORAL) By virtue of instant petition preferred under Article 226/227 of the Constitution of India, petitioners have sought issuance of a writ especially in the nature of mandamus directing the respondents to pay arrears and other consequential benefits from the due dates i.e. from 22.02.2009 instead of 01.12.2011. And further directing the respondents to pay arrears of 36 months prior to 22.02.2012, the date of filing of CWP No. 3565-2012 by the petitioners. 2.

At the very outset of the arguments, learned counsel for the petitioners submits that though representation dated 21.01.2017 (Annexure P-5) was moved to the respondents but till date no conscious decision has been taken. He submits that petitioners feel satisfied in case direction is issued to respondent(s) to decide the aforesaid representation, within a stipulated period. 3.

CWP No. 27246 OF 2017 --2-- Financial Commissioner Development and Additional Chief Secretary to Government of Punjab, Department of Agriculture, Chandigarh to look into the grievances unfolded by the petitioners in their representation 21.01.2017 (Annexure P-5) and to decide the same, within a period of three months from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order. 4.

However, if the petitioners still feel aggrieved against the order passed by the concerned authority, they shall be at liberty to approach this Court.
