(Oral) As per report received from the CJM-cum-Secretary, District Legal Services Authority, Hoshiarpur, dated 07.01.2020, mediation has failed. The present petition has been filed under Section 438 Cr.P.C., for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner, in case FIR No. 27, dated 10.04.2019, under Section 498-A IPC, registered at Police Station Chabbewal, District Hoshiarpur. Learned counsel for the petitioner states that pursuant to order dated 21st August, 2019, passed by this Court, the petitioner has joined the investigation. This fact is not disputed by the counsel for the State as well. Learned State counsel on instructions from ASI Jagdish Kumar, states that the petitioner is no longer required for further interrogation. In view of the above, the petition is allowed and interim order dated 21st August, 2019, is made absolute subject to the conditions laid down in Section 438(2) Cr.P.C.
