Petitioners have prayed for a writ in the nature of mandamus to direct the respondents to reopen the main gate/passage of Housing Board Colony. It has been contended in the petition that same is meant for use by inhabitants of the Colony. It has been closed on the direction of respondent no. 5 in an illegal and arbitrary manner.
Learned State counsel submits that grievance of the petitioner can be looked into by respondent no. 5, who is the contesting respondent. In view of above, petition is disposed of with the direction that respondent no. 5 may look into the grievance of the petitioner and take appropriate steps, if circumstances so warrant.
