(Oral) At the very outset, learned State counsel on instructions from Malkit Singh, Accounts Officer has informed the Court that the petitioner has been working since December, 2016 on the post of Block Development and Programme Officer in Elanabad. He will continue to work on the said post till the workload is available.

In view of the above statement, the present petition stands disposed of with a direction to the respondents to allow the petitioner to continue to work till the workload is available. The petitioner shall not be replaced by another set of contractual employee, subject to the condition that his work and conduct is satisfactory.
