(Oral) This petition has been filed, inter alia, seeking a writ of mandamus directing the respondents to fix the petitioners' pay as they were already getting prior to foregoing promotion, as has been done in the case of private respondent no.4.

After arguing for some time, learned counsel for the petitioner seeks permission to withdraw the petition since the petitioners are not entitled to the relief claimed in view of judgment dated 05.09.2017 passed by this Court in CWP-9389-2013 and other connected petitions titled Surinder Kumari and others v. State of Haryana and another, Annexure R-5. He, however, contends that the petitioners may be permitted to pursue their case for grant of benefit in terms of Rule 14 of Haryana Civil Services (Assured PAYAL 2024.01.25 15:36 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this order/judgment
