RAJESH BHARDWAJ, J.(ORAL) Present petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for protection of life and liberty of the petitioner. It has been submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that private respondents are continuously threatening the petitioner and for protection of her life and liberty, she has already given a representation, dated 11.07.2024, Annexure P-1 to respondent No.2, but till today no action has been taken on the same.

Notice of motion to respondents no.1 and 2/State only. On asking of the Court, Mr.Rajiv Vij, Addl.P.P.,U.T., Chandigarh, who is present in Court, accepts notice on behalf of the respondents/State.

Without entering upon an exercise to evaluate the evidentiary value of the documents placed on the file, I dispose of the petition with a MEENU 2024.08.01 11:09 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document direction to respondent no.2-Senior Superintendent of Police, U.T.,

CRWP-7238-2024 -2Chandigarh, to decide the representation (Annexure P-1) of the petitioner within one month from today and meantime grant her protection, if any threat to her life and liberty is perceived. It is clarified that this order shall not be taken to grant immunity to the petitioner from legal action for violation of law, if any, committed by her.
