******* SURINDER GUPTA, J.(Oral) Reply by way of affidavit on behalf of the respondent filed today in the Court is taken on record.

Learned counsel for the respondent submits that amount of `5 lakhs has been refunded to the petitioner on 11.10.2019. As per order dated 08.04.2019, the respondent was directed to pay an amount of `5 lakhs within one month. It was further ordered that erring official would be penalised for the interest for illegally withholding the said amount and the amount was paid in October, 2019. As such, respondent is directed to pay the interest @ 9% on the amount of `5 lakhs to the petitioner within a period of six weeks. The interest will be calculated from the date of order i.e 08.04.2019 till the date of payment and respondent will be entitled to recover the said amount from the erring official. The petition is disposed of with liberty of the petitioner to seek revival of petition if the interest amount as directed is not paid in six weeks.
