G.S.SANDHAWALIA, J. (Oral) The petitioner seeks the release of retiral dues alongwith interest.

It is the case of the petitioner that he superannuated as Inspector Grade-II on 31.08.2014 from the respondent-corporation. In spite of representations dated 01.06.2015 and 16.10.2015 (Annexures P-2 and P3), he has not been paid the retiral dues. It is the case of the petitioner that there is no charge sheet or departmental proceedings pending against him and reliance is also placed upon the information sought from the office of the District Manager on 15.03.2016 (Annexure P-4). Counsel submits that he would be satisfied if the above said representations are decided within a time bound frame. Keeping in view the limited relief sought, this Court is of the opinion that there is no need to call for the respondents to file reply. Accordingly, without commenting on the merits of the case, the writ petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent no. 2 to decide SHIVANI GUPTA 2016.04.06 14:47 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document Chandigarh

CWP No. 6264 of 2016 representations dated 01.06.2015 and 16.10.2015 (Annexures P-2 and P-3) within a period of 2 month from the date of receipt of certified copy of the order. If the amount is found to be due and there is no legal impediment, the same shall be paid to the petitioner within a period of 1 month thereafter. The said respondents shall also ensure that the issue of interest element due to the delay in disbursement is also decided in view of the Full Bench judgment of this Court in A.S.Randhawa Vs.
