The petitioner has challenged the demand raised by the respondent for various amounts including the interest amounts. It is contended that the rates of interest are exorbitant and even otherwise illegal.

It is not necessary to entertain this writ petition for these contentions can always be taken in defence in any proceedings that the respondent may adopt for recovery of any amount(s) including for interest.

Petition accordingly stands disposed of.
