CORAM:
HON'BLE MR.JUSTICE G.S.SANDHAWALIA
Present:
Mr. Manu K. Bhandari, Advocate for the petitioners. Mr. Anshul Gupta, Assistant Advocate General, Punjab. *** G.S.SANDHAWALIA, J. (Oral) Notice of motion was ordered to be issued on 4.4.2016 by noting the following contention:- "Counsel inter alia submits that legal notice has been served upon the respondents on 01.01.2016 raising the grievance of seniority and sending the petitioners to the inter mediate school course. The same was followed up on 23.02.2016 (Annexure P-7) and on 02.03.2016 (Annexure P-9) but respondent no. 5 has not acted upon the same. In the meantime, on 25.03.2016 (Annexure P-10), juniors have been sent for the inter mediate school course. It is thus submitted that the petitioners would be gravely prejudiced on account of the inaction of the respondents. Counsel places reliance upon CWP No. 6221 of 2016, in which notice of motion has been issued for 11.04.2016.
Notice of motion.
Mr. R.S. Sidhu, AAG, Punjab accepts notice and prays for time to find out as to why there is delay in decision making. Requisite number of copies of the writ petition be supplied to him during the course of the day.
Adjourned to 11.04.2016."
Admittedly, the said legal notice dated 1.1.2016 has not been decided. In similar cases in Civil Writ Petition Nos. 6221 and 6226 of 2016, respondent no.5 has considered the matter and passed speaking orders dated 6.4.2016.
