Prayer in this petition, filed under Section 482 of the Bhartiya Nyaya Suraksha Sanhita, 2023, is for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner, who has been booked in a criminal case arising out of First Information Report, as detailed hereunder:- Name of Petitioner (s) FIR No.

On 27.06.2025, following order was passed:- "Present:
Mr.Mayur Karkra, Advocate, for the petitioner. By way of this petition filed under Section 482 of the Bhartiya Nyaya Suraksha Sanhita, 2023, prayer is made for grant of anticipatory bail in case FIR No.24 dated 23.03.2025, under Sections 115(2), 118(1), 351, 324(4), 191(3), 190 of BNS,
2023 [Sections 117(2) and 118(2) BNS, 2023 added later on], registered at Police Station Ghagga, District Patiala. It is contended by learned counsel that the only role attributed to the petitioner is to have caused injury with the stick, hitting on the right hand fingers of the complainant. It is further contended that a similarly placed co-accused Paramjit Singh @ Pamma @ Harnek Singh has been given the concession of anticipatory bail by a Coordinate Bench of this Court vide order dated 28.05.2025 passed in CRM-M-30398-2025 (Annexure P5). Learned counsel further submits that petitioner is ready to join the investigation. It is also pointed out that it is a case of version and cross-version.

Mr.Animesh Sharma, Addl. A.G., Punjab accepts notice on behalf of the respondent-State. A copy of paper book be supplied to him during the course of day.
Adjourned to 02.09.2025 for filing status report. In the meantime, petitioner is directed to join investigation and co-operate in the same. He will not leave the country without prior permission of the Court nor shall make any attempt to contact the complainant of the case or any witness associated with the case. In the event of the arrest of the petitioner, he shall be released on interim bail on his furnishing personal/surety bonds to the satisfaction of the Arresting Officer/Investigating Officer. He shall also abide by conditions as envisaged under Section 482(2) BNSS.

Continuing his submissions, learned counsel for the petitioner contends that in compliance of the order dated 27.06.2025, passed by this Court, petitioner has joined the investigation, and has fully co-operated.
Therefore, he prays for confirmation of the said interim anticipatory bail order.

Learned State counsel on instructions confirms the said averment made by counsel for the petitioner of joining the investigation on 24.07.2025 by the petitioner, and submits that as of now, custodial interrogation of the petitioner is not required for the purpose of investigation. 5.
Heard learned counsel for the parties.

Since, petitioner has already joined the investigation and custodial interrogation is no more required; ad-interim bail order dated 27.06.2025, passed by this Court is hereby made absolute. Accordingly, present petition is allowed.
However, petitioner shall continue to join the investigation as and when required to do so and abide by all the terms and conditions laid down under Section 482(2) of BNSS, 2023.

Accordingly, petition stands disposed of.
