The petitioner has approached this Court under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India inter alia seeking directions to the respondents to finalize One Time Settlement as per representations of the petitioner dated 06.11.2013, 30.09.2014 and 28.04.2014 (Annexures P-7 to P-9, respectively) in pursuance to the compromise settlement policy issued by the respondents.

On July 22, 2016, the following order was passed: "Learned counsel for the petitioner states that the petitioner is ready to pay the entire amount which would be possible in case of one time settlement which according to him would be approximately ` 12 to 13 Rishu Kataria 2016.11.15 11:41 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document
CWP-6283-2016 -2lakhs. He seeks time to produce the demand draft for the aforesaid amount.
Adjourned to 4.8.2016 as prayed."

In spite of repeated adjournments sought by learned counsel for the petitioner to comply with the said order, the same has not been complied with so far. After arguing for sometime, learned counsel for the petitioners submitted that he may be allowed to withdraw the present petition, with liberty to the petitioner to file a fresh petition on the same cause of action by producing the demand draft of the same amount in terms of the order dated 22.07.2016.
