Daya Chaudhary, J. (Oral) Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that earlier the petitioner filed CWP No.18830 of 2013 but at that time, the appeal filed by the petitioner was pending so the aforesaid writ petition was disposed of. Now the appeal has been decided and the punishment awarded to the petitioner has been set-aside. Learned counsel for the petitioner further submits that when the petitioner was found innocent in the appeal, he moved a representation stating therein that junior to the petitioner has been promoted to the post of DSP whereas the petitioner was given promotion list "F" with effect from 05.01.2007 and he was promoted as Inspector with effect from 13.01.2007. CWP No.7144 of 2015 to the petitioner, namely, Inspector Vinod Kumar, has been promoted to the rank of Deputy Superintendent of Police vide order dated 12.04.2012. The representation moved by the petitioner has not been decided so far. Learned counsel also submits that the petitioner would be satisfied in case, representation (Annexure P-5) moved by him is decided.
Without commenting anything on the merits of the case and keeping in view the limited prayer of the petitioner, the present writ petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.2 to decide the representation dated 24/26.07.2014 moved by the petitioner in accordance with law and pass necessary order within a period of two months from the date of receipt of certified copy of the order.
Disposed of accordingly.
