CWP No. 8379 of 2014 <2< Learned counsel for the petitioners states that for claiming their relief, he has served legal notices (Annexures P<11 and P<12) upon the respondents but no decision was taken thereon. In the written statement filed on behalf of the respondents, the pendency of legal notices, referred to above, has been admitted. However, it has been stated that before a decision could be taken thereon, the instant writ petition was filed and thus the matter being subjudice, no decision was taken on the same. Learned counsel for the petitioners states that in view of the aforesaid stand in the written statement, at this stage, he limits his prayer to seeking a direction to the respondents to take a decision on the legal notices by passing a speaking order.

Accordingly, without commenting on the merits of the case, the present writ petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.1 to take into consideration the aforesaid legal notices (Annexure P<11 and P<12) and dispose of the same by passing a speaking order expeditiously, preferably within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this order. In case, the petitioners are found to be entitled to any benefits in terms of the aforesaid decision, the same be released to them within three months thereafter.
