This petition has been filed under Section 482 of BNSS, 2023, seeking anticipatory bail in case FIR No.64 dated 05.06.2025, registered under Section 15 (b) of NDPS Act, 1985, at Police Station Moonak, District Sangrur.

On 26.06.2025, the following order was passed:- "XX XX XX XX Counsel for the petitioner contends that the recovery effected from the residential premises of the petitioner falls in the non-commercial category. He submits that the petitioner has clean antecedents and has been falsely implicated.

Issue notice of motion to the respondent.

On asking of the Court, Mr. Kanav Singla, AAG, Punjab, accepts notice.

List on 07.07.2025.

Status report be filed before the next date.

CRM-M-33413-2025 In the meanwhile, the petitioner shall join the investigation and would appear as and when required by the Investigating Officer and cooperate with the Investigating Agency. In the event of arrest, the petitioner shall be admitted to interim bail on his furnishing personal and surety bonds to the satisfaction of Arresting/Investigating Officer. She shall also abide by the conditions as specified under Section 482 BNSS." 3.

Learned State counsel, on instructions from the investigating officer, at the very outset, informs the Court that the petitioner has joined the investigation and his custodial interrogation is not required.

In view of the statement of learned State counsel, order dated 26.06.2025 is hereby made absolute. The petitioner shall abide by the terms and conditions envisaged under Section 482(2) of BNSS (erstwhile Section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973). 5.

The petition stands disposed of.
