The present criminal writ petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of direction to respondent Nos.2 and 3 to protect the life and liberty of the petitioners at the hands of private respondent Nos.4 and 5.

Notice of motion was issued on 07.12.2020.

Reply has been filed by the State by way of an affidavit of Mr. Veer Singh, HPS, Assistant Commissioner of Police, Pataudi. Along with the reply, statements of the petitioners have also been appended wherein it has specifically been stated that both the petitioners do not want any protection and they do not apprehend any danger to their lives and liberty.
