The prayer encapsulated in the instant writ petition is for the issuance of directions to the respondent(s) to consider the petitioner on par with an Executive Engineer, in view of the judgment rendered in CWP4216-2001 titled "S.K. Yadav and another vs. State of Haryana and others", and also to consider the petitioner's application for allotment of a Type-9 (Old) house.

At the outset, learned counsel for the respondents submits that the petitioner has already been promoted to the post of Joint Director and, therefore, the prayer made in the instant writ petition has become infructuous.

In view of the aforesaid submission that the petitioner has DEVINDER YADAV 2026.04.08 09:54 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this order/judgment

CWP-25791-2018 already been promoted to the post of Joint Director, the instant writ petition is disposed of with liberty to the petitioner to apply to the authority concerned for allotment of a house corresponding to his promoted post of Joint Director. In the event that such an application for allotment is submitted by the petitioner, the competent authority shall consider and decide the same expeditiously.
