Mr. B.S. Rathee, Advocate, for the petitioner. Mr. Sandeep Vermani, Advocate, for the respondents. **** Rajan Gupta, J. (Oral) Petitioner has prayed for a writ in the nature of mandamus to direct the respondents to ensure 24 hours electricity supplied to them as per existing policies. It has been urged that the Gram Panchayat, Harsana Kalan, has given land free of cost for installing of sub-station/power house for facility of the village. However, no action has been taken by the respondents till now.

Mr. Vermani has put in appearance on behalf of the Nigam. He submits that pursuant to order dated July 06, 2017, Mr. S.N. Sharma, S.E., OP Circle UHBVN, Sonepat, is present in court today. He seeks to place on record his affidavit. Prayer is accepted. Same is taken on record. He submits that, in case, a duly authorized representative of the residents of the village appear before respondent No.3, he shall afford an opportunity of hearing to him and take a decision, thereafter, as per the existing policies. In view of statement made by learned counsel for Nigam, no further direction is necessary. Petition is disposed of.
