Present petition under Section 438 Cr.P.C. for seeking pre-arrest bail to the petitioner, namely Sukhpreet Singh alias Sunny in case FIR No. 162 dated 12.07.2018, registered under Section(s) 22 of the Narcotic Drugs & Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985 at Police Station Daresi, District Ludhiana. The petitioner is involved in the case of alleged recovery of 280 grams of heroin.
Learned counsel for the petitioner contended that petitioner mistook the date to be 16.08.2019, instead of 02.08.2019; that is why he could not appear before the learned trial Court and his arrest warrants have been issued. Learned counsel further contended that petitioner is ready to surrender before the learned trial Court within a period of one week from today.
