Petitioner has filed this petition under Section 438 Cr.P.C. for grant of anticipatory bail in case FIR No.133 dated 17.09.2017 under Sections 420 and 408 IPC, registered at Police Station PAU, District Ludhiana.

I have heard learned counsel for the petitioner and have gone through the record.

The perusal of the record shows that FIR in the present case has been got registered by V.K.Dhawan, Manager, Muthoot Finance against the petitioner. All the allegations levelled in the FIR are against the present petitioner, who is stated to be Assistant Branch Manager/Incharge of the Branch. The allegations are that he opened fake account against spurious gold and sanctioned and disbursed the loan. There is also allegation that VINEET GULATI 2019.08.22 16:19 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document Chandigarh packets containing gold were found missing. So many other irregularities,

CRM No.M-33897 of 2019 -2fraudulent act and misappropriate has also been found. Keeping in view the serious allegations against the petitioner, I find that he is required for custodial interrogation and no ground is made out for grant of anticipatory bail to him.

Therefore, finding no merit in the present petition, the same is dismissed.
