**** HARNARESH SINGH GILL, J.(Oral) Prayer in this petition is for issuance of directions to official respondents No.1 and 2 to take strict action against private respondents No.4 and 5, for terrorizing the petitioner and his family members. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that respondent No.4, namely, Santosh Kumari is the wife of the petitioner and respondent No.5, namely, Reeta Kashyap, is the daughter of the petitioner; that the wife and daughter of the petitioner are residing on the ground floor of the house; that the married son of the petitioner along with his wife are residing on the first floor of the house and that respondents No.4 and 5, though wife and daughter of the petitioner, are intentionally harassing him.

At this stage, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that for redressal of his grievances, the petitioner has moved a representation dated 27.02.2023 (Annexure P-1) to respondent No.2-Commissioner of Police, Jalandhar, but no action has been taken on the same till date. On the asking of this Court,   

 

   , accepts notice on behalf of the respondents-State and submits that he has no objection if the aforesaid limited prayer made by the learned counsel for the petitioner is allowed. In view of the above, the present petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.2-Commissioner of Police, Jalandhar, to decide the representation dated 27.02.2023 (Annexure P-1) moved by the petitioner, within two months, from the receipt of the certified copy of this order, as per law.
