Challenge in the present writ petition is to the order dated 11.05.2023 passed by the Armed Forces Tribunal, Chandigarh (for short 'the AFT') in O.A. No.1529 of 2018 titled as "Suraj Bhan Vs. Union of India and others" whereby directions were issued to the petitioners to release the payment to the applicant-respondent No.2 on the basis of One Rank One Pension (OROP).

The issue raised in the present petition is no more res-integra in view of the judgment rendered by the Hon'ble Supreme Court in Civil Appeal Diary No(s).31127 of 2022 titled as "Union of India and others Vs. Lt. Cdr. Mathew Joseph (Retd.) and others, decided on 12.12.2022, YAG DUTT 2025.07.08 13:06 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this order/judgment

CWP No.18042 of 2025 -2wherein the Apex Court has held as under:- "Application seeking permission to file appeal is allowed.

Delay is condoned.

We do not find any good ground and reason to interfere with the impugned judgments/orders, as they do not pass or issue any affirmative direction, but record that the matter is pending before the anomalies committee.

We request the anomalies committee to decide the issue in question expeditiously and preferably within a period of four months form the date of receipt of copy of this order.

Recording the aforesaid, the civil appeals are dismissed.

Pending application(s), if any, stand disposed of."

In view thereto, we do not find any reason to interfere with the impugned order dated 11.05.2023 passed by the AFT and the same be now complied within a period of three months from today. 4.
