(ORAL) After arguing for a while, learned counsel for the petitioners seeks permission to withdraw the instant petition while submitting that the petitioners would be availing the appropriate, alternative and efficacious remedy, as may be permissible to them under law, to seek the redressal of their grievance, as canvassed in this petition. Mr. Charanjit Singh Bakhshi, learned Additional Public Prosecutor, UT, Chandigarh, who has appeared on behalf of respondent No.1-UT in this case in pursuance to the copy of the present petition having been sent to this respondent in advance, has no objection for the same.
Resultantly, the petition in hand stands dismissed for having been withdrawn.
