(ORAL) [1] Short reply by way of affidavit dated 15.07.2025 of Shri Sunil Kumar, HPS, Deputy Superintendent of Police, Women Safety, Hisar, on behalf of the respondent Nos.1 to 3 has been filed in Court today. The same is kept on record. Copy thereof has been supplied to learned counsel opposite.
[2] Paragraph No.2 of the said short reply reads as under:- "2.
That after receiving the petition respondent No.3 marked the enquiry to SI Gautam Kumar No.888/JJR, who visited village Mirjapur, District Hisar on 26.06.2025 & 02.07.2025. In this regard it is submitted that SI Gautam Kumar No.888/JJR recorded the statements of the private respondents and other relevant witnesses, except the statement of Dharamveer S/o Rajender (Respondent No.4), who is a driver and went to Jaisalmer-Mumbai and probably comeback near about 12 days. The persons whose statements were recorded have categorically denied that any threat or coercion to the petitioners. They have further stated on record that they have no objection to the petitioners residing together. CRWP-6830-2025 (O&M) -2- has been made out against the private respondents as per the findings of the preliminary enquiry conducted by Gautam Kumar No.888/JJR. True translated copy of enquiry report is attached herewith as Annexure R-I. The police officials have acted in accordance with law, and there is no dereliction of duty on their part. "
[3] Learned counsel for the petitioners, having perused the above said short reply (especially paragraph No.2 thereof), seeks to withdraw the petition, in hand, at this stage.
[4] Ordered accordingly.
[5] Leave and liberty is reserved in favour of the petitioners to file a fresh petition, in case, cause of action so ensues. [6] All pending miscellaneous application(s), if any, stands disposed off.
