The petitioner seeks issuance of directions to respondents No.1 to 3 to protect his life and liberty as he apprehends threat to the same at the hands of respondents No.4 to 7.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the private respondents are trying to forcibly dispossess the petitioner from his property and that the petitioner, as such, was constrained to file a civil suit against the private respondents, which is caused annoyance to the private respondents, who are all out to cause harm to the petitioner. It has been submitted that although the petitioner submitted a representation dated 26.6.2024 (Annexure P-1) to respondent No.2 - Senior Superintendent of Police, Jagraon, Ludhiana Rural, District Ludhiana, but to no avail.

Having heard learned counsel for the petitioner, but without commenting anything as regards merits of the case or as regards veracity of averments made in the petition, the instant petition is disposed off with a direction to respondent No.2 - Senior Superintendent of Police, Jagraon, Ludhiana Rural, District Ludhiana to look into the matter and to get the representation/complaint dated 26.6.2024 (Annexure P-1) examined qua the alleged threat perception of the petitioner. In case, it is found that there is any gunine threat to the life and liberty of the petitioner, then necessary steps as may be warranted under law be taken thereupon at the earliest. 4.

A copy of this order alongwith copy of representation/complaint dated 26.6.2024 (Annexure P-1) be sent to respondent No.2 - Senior Superintendent of Police, Jagraon, Ludhiana Rural, District Ludhiana for necessary compliance.
