The present petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking issuance of writ in the nature of Habeas Corpus and for appointment of warrant officer, with a roving writ to search for the detenue namely Joni, son of Mahinder Kumar (real brother of petitioner) at the premises of respondent Nos.4 to 6.

It is stated by the learned Legal Aid counsel appointed to assist this Court that the petitioners are alleging that the statements are not being recorded correctly by the police. It is further alleged that the petitioners are naming certain persons but the police is not proceeding in that direction. 3.
I have heard learned counsel for the parties and perused the material placed on record.

Keeping in view the facts and circumstance of the present case, the CRWP No.7659 of 2023 (O&M) -2present petition is disposed of with a direction to official respondent Nos.2 and 3 to record the statements of the petitioners and in case any, offence is made out, they shall proceed in accordance with law.
