C.W.P No. 25983-2018 The present petition is for issuance of direction to the respondents to fill up 500 posts of Constables in Haryana Police reserved in favour of Special Backward Class from the general Category candidates, At the very outset, learned State counsel has informed the Court that in view of Garima Jindal v. HVPNL and another, passed in CWP No. 133842011, the vacancies of SBC are now being filled up from General category candidates, as per instructions of the Government. In view of the statement of learned State counsel, the present petition stands disposed of with a direction to the respondents to consider the case of the petitioners against posts meant for SBC category, which are now being filled treating these posts to be under General category.
