Petitioners - Gurpreet Singh and Harminder Singh, have filed the instant petition for quashing of FIR No.75 dated 22.07.2022, under Sections 406, 420 IPC, 1860, registered at Police Station Urban Estate, Patiala, and all subsequent proceedings arising therefrom on the basis of compromise dated 27.06.2022 (Annexure P-2).

Petition is pending since September, 2022. Direction was issued on 06.09.2022 for recording of statement of the parties before the Court of learned trial Court/Illaqa Magistrate. 3.

Perusal of report dated 02.12.2022 indicates that parties never appear to get their statement recorded. Even on all the four occasions, there was no one to represent the petitioners before this Court. 4.

In view of circumstances noticed hereabove, such a prayer cannot be entertained and decided.

Accordingly, the present petition stands dismissed. 6.
