IN THE HIGH COURT OF PUNJAB AND HARYANA AT

CHANDIGARH Civil Writ Petition No. 7480 of 2015(O&M) Date of Decision: April 23 , 2015.

Mohinder Kaur ...... PETITIONER (s)

Versus

State of Punjab and others ...... RESPONDENT (s) CORAM:- HON'BLE MR.JUSTICE HEMANT GUPTA HON'BLE MRS.JUSTICE LISA GILL

Present:

Mr. N.S.Dandiwal, Advocate for the petitioner.

***** HEMANT GUPTA, J.

The writ-petitioner has filed a writ of mandamus for directing the respondents to supply the copy of order dated 10.04.2015 vide which recounting of votes has been ordered by the Presiding Officer, Election Tribunal, District Moga.

After having heard learned counsel for the petitioner, we do not find that petitioner can be permitted by this Court to claim a writ of mandamus to supply a copy of the order. Firstly, it is only a period 12 days after the orders were passed out of which there were many vacations. Still further, the petitioner can make grievance before the appellate authority if the copy was not supplied to him. But this Court cannot act as an agency to supply copy of the order to the aggrieved parties.

Dismissed.
