ARUN MONGA, J. (ORAL) Instant petition has been filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. seeking directions to respondents No.2 to 4to get the investigation in FIR No.0052 dated 01.05.2022 registered under Section 346 IPC at Police Station Division No.4, Ludhiana, from some senior police officer or to hand over the investigation to CBI or some independent investigating agency. Further prayer has been made to take necessary action on representation dated 10.06.2022 (Annexure P-3).

Status report by way of affidavit of Shri Kaustubh Sharma, IPS, Commissioner of Police, Ludhiana is already on record. Perusal of same reveals that all possible efforts/steps have already been taken to trace the missing boy but whereabouts of missing boy are yet not known. 3.

Needful is since being done already, in the premise, no further action by this Court is warranted. Instant petition is disposed of as infructuous. It is expected of the respondents to take further steps to trace the missing boy, in accordance with law.
