(oral) This petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India is for issuance of writ in the nature of mandamus directing the respondents to release the balance payment of `27,52,673/- qua the work, which was allotted to the petitioner. Vide order dated 16.01.2015, the petitioner was allotted the works of Providing and Installing of continuous Sand Filter Plant as mentioned in para No.2 of the petition. The petitioner has completed the said work to the satisfaction of the respondents, but the payment thereof has not been released to him till date. In this regard, the petitioner has given a representation dated 06.12.2015 (Annexure P-2), but no action has been taken thereon till date.

In view of the above position, this petition, at this stage is being disposed of without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, by giving a direction to respondents No. 3 & 4 to look into the representation of the petitioner (Annexure P-2) and decide the same in SATYAWAN 2016.01.

If respondents No.3 & 4 come to a conclusion that the petitioner is entitled to the amount mentioned above, the same be released forthwith.
