*** Rajiv Narain Raina, J. (oral) This petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India is for issuance of writ in the nature of mandamus directing the respondents to release the balance payment of `1,43,30,000/- qua the works, which were allotted to the petitioner.
Vide orders dated 30.01.2015, the petitioner was allotted certain works of Providing and Installing of continuous Sand Filter Plant as mentioned in para No.2 of the petition. The petitioner has completed the said works to the satisfaction of the respondents, but the payment thereof has not been released to him till date. In this regard, the petitioner has given a representation dated 06.12.2015 (Annexure P-5), but no action has been taken thereon till date. In view of the above position, this petition, at this stage is being disposed of without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, by giving a direction to respondents No. 3 & 4 to look into the SATYAWAN 2016.01.15 14:47 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document High Court Chandigarh
