(ORAL) Instant writ petition under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India has been filed for issuance of directions to respondents No.1 to 3 to protect the life and liberty of the petitioners at the hands of respondents No.4 to 7 as petitioners have married against the wishes of respondents No.4 to 7.

Learned counsel for the petitioners states that this petition may be disposed of in terms of CWP No.2769 of 2016 titled 'Anjali and another v. Union Territory Chandigarh and others' decided on 15.02.2016 (Annexure P-1).
