Present writ petition is for issuance of directions to the respondents to release retirement/service benefits to the petitioner, which are accrued to them under the Career Advancement Scheme as per UGC notification dated 01.01.1996 and for release of benefits of arrears with interest.

Learned counsel for the petitioners contended that petitioners have already got issued legal notice dated 18.04.2018 (Annexure P13) detailing all their grievances, but still no action has been taken thereon. Notice of motion.

On asking of the Court, Mrs. Anju Arora, Additional Advocate General, Punjab accepts notice on behalf of the respondents.
