***** RAJAN GUPTA , J. (Oral) Prayer, in the petition, is for quashing of notification dated 16.03.2018 issued by Ministry of Road and Transport and Highways whereby it was decided to acquire the land, in question, for the public purpose (widening/four-laning), management, maintenance and operation of National Highway No.11 in the stretch of land from 12.000 Kms. to 35.500 Kms. (Rewari-Narnaul-Pacheri Kalan Section) including Rewari bypass in District Rewari. It is contended by the petitioner that he set-up a petrol pump after taking a site on lease for 30 years. The petrol pump was set up after obtaining necessary permissions from all authorities. Petitioner spent a huge amount for setting up of the petrol pump. However, in view of notification dated 16.03.2018, same has been acquired. No compensation has been paid to the petitioner in lieu of the acquisition. According to her, this is against the provisions of the Act.
