In this writ petition filed under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India, the petitioner has prayed for issuance of a writ in the nature of certiorari, mandamus, prohibition etc. for quashing the Property Tax Notice (Annexure P-5) and directing respondents No.3 and 4 to consider the objections [Annexure P-6 (colly)] filed by him to the said notice as per the mandate of notification dated 11.10.2013 and pass a speaking order after giving the petitioner an opportunity of being heard. 2.

After arguing for some time, when the observation of the Bench was against the petitioner regarding maintainability of writ petition especially when the auction scheduled to be held on 31.10.2017, had not taken place, learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that he may be allowed to withdraw the present writ petition.
