(Oral) The petitioner has laid challenge to the order dated 22.03.2016 passed by the Central Administrative Tribunal, Chandigarh Bench, whereby his Original Application challenging the order of his transfer from Patiala to Dhuri dated 12.02.2016, has been dismissed.

The petitioner is statedly working as Office Superintendent in the Railways and vide the impugned transfer order he was transferred from Patiala to Dhuri (District Sangrur). The distance from Patiala to Dhuri is hardly 75 kilometers. The aforementioned transfer order was challenged by the petitioner on the ground that he has to look-after his mother who is 76 years old and getting regular treatment from a private hospital at Patiala and his minor son is suffering from Narobrohchial Allergy and taking treatment from a MOHINDER KUMAR 2016.04.11 14:29 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document Chandigarh

In our considered view, both the grounds are frivolous. Learned Tribunal has rightly declined to interfere with the impugned transfer order.
