In this writ petition filed under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India, the petitioner has prayed for issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus for directing the respondents to finalize the process of tenders of 63 development works invited, vide tender notice dated 18.10.2017 (Annexure P-3) which were to be opened on 31.10.2017, so that the development works within the Municipal Committee, Cheeka can be undertaken and completed without any delay.

After arguing for some time, learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that he may be allowed to withdraw the present writ petition with liberty to the petitioner to pursue the remedy before the appropriate authority, in accordance with law.
