**** RAJ MOHAN SINGH, J. (Oral) The case has been taken up for hearing through video conferencing.
Petitioners have preferred this petition for issuance of appropriate writ, order or direction especially in the nature of mandamus directing the respondents to take all remedial steps to remove discrimination with bajra (millet) crop in comparison to other foodgrains.
Petitioners seeks procurement of bajra (millet) crop at MSP rates and for re-opening of registration of said crop at par with crop like paddy which is also a kharif crop. Petitioners have also been registered in MERI FASAL MERA BYORA with registration No.10630318. Petitioners seek
-2to highlight and espouse the discrimination which is being meted to bajra (millet) crop by not re-opening the registration of this crop at par with paddy crop. The Haryana Government after registration of bajra (millet) crop has not started procurement of the same as per instructions of Government of India dated 11.06.2021. Registration was re-opened from 01.10.2021 to 03.10.2021 in which registration of bajra (millet) crop was not in the option. Registration of paddy crop was given two times and registration of bajra (millet) crop was only for one time. Precisely for the grievance in question, representation of the petitioners dated 08.10.2021 is pending before respondent No.2.
Learned counsel for the petitioners further submits that the petitioners would be satisfied in case respondent No.2 is directed to adopt realistic approach on the representation dated 08.10.2021 (Annexure P-5).
