RAJESH BHARDWAJ, J.(ORAL) Instant writ petition has been filed under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus directing respondents to release the proud allowance of the petitioners who remained as Municipal Councilors in Municipal Council, Dhanaula from 20.04.2019 to 10.03.2020 alongwith interest. It is further prayed to decide the representations, dated 23.02.2022, Annexure P-1 and legal notice dated 03.04.2023, Annexure P-2.

It has been contended by counsel for the petitioners that representation, Annexure P-1, was filed on 23.02.2023 before respondent No.5, but no decision has been taken on the same till date. Notice of motion.

On asking of the Court, Ms.Akshita Chauhan, DAG, Punjab, who is present in Court, accepts notice on behalf of the respondents/State. After hearing counsel for the parties and going through the facts and circumstances of the case, the present petition is disposed of with a MEENU 2023.08.18 14:17 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this order/judgment
