The abovementioned 11 petitions are being disposed of by a common judgment, as these involve a similar issue. 2.

These petitions have been filed under Article 226/227 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a writ in the mandamus directing the respondents to take over/absorb the services of the petitioners at par with their counterparts working in those very schools and grant them corresponding pay scales w.e.f date(s) of appointment or pay the minimum pay of the respective grades of the corresponding categories of teaching staff as per conditions of affiliation of Punjab School Education Board. 3.

Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the present petitions have been rendered infructuous in view of the policy having been issued by the State of Punjab and may be disposed of as such. However, they pray for liberty to file a representation, which may be directed to be decided in a time bound manner.

However, in case, the petitioners submit representation within a period of 4 weeks, the same be decided by the respondents expeditiously, in accordance with law.
