In this writ petition filed under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India, the petitioners have prayed for issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus for quashing the impugned order dated 20.02.2017 (Annexure P-5) passed by respondent No.6.

After arguing for some time, learned counsel for the petitioners submitted that because of supervening event, whereby, respondent No.1 has given her option for State of Tamil Nadu, a prayer was made to withdraw the present writ petition with liberty to the petitioners to file review petition before the Central Administrative Tribunal, Chandigarh Bench for passing appropriate orders, in accordance with law.
