This matter is being taken up for hearing through video conferencing due to the outbreak of pandemic, COVID-19. The petitioner prays for a direction to the respondents for counting her services from22.07.1998 till 31.05.2007, prior to regularisation of her service, for the purpose of computation of pension, which is alleged to be in violation of decision of Hon'ble Full Bench of this Court in Kesar Chand Vs. State of Punjab and others1988(5) SLR 27. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that legal notice dated 17.08.2020 (Annexure P-12), in this respect has been submitted by the petitioner, but no action is being taken by the authorities. CWP-20738-2020 -2At this stage, learned counsel for the petitioner restricts his prayer for a decision on legal notice dated 17.08.2020 (Annexure P-12), in a time bound manner.

Keeping in view the facts and circumstances of this case, but without any expression of opinion on the merits of the matter, this petition is disposed of with a direction to the competent authority to decide legal notice dated 17.08.2020 (Annexure P-12) by passing a speaking order, within a period of three months from receipt of certified copy of this order. Petition is disposed of accordingly.
